it was ok there was so much more to the story.

i saw it yesterday, good but not good as scarface or godfather. denzel was dope, but the story about crowe's wife and daugther was not needed. My Rate : 7/10

this is one of the better movies i've seen this year. Crowe and Denzel were really good, and Ridley is, as always, a competent director. the music was really good, and i really loved the ending, seemed to signal the end of an era.

this was just run of the mill crime drama to me.
denzel does the same thing whenever he plays a bad guy or a good guy.
overly dramatic.
life ain't that dramatic.  it's detailed and the drama is usually internal.
good movie i guess but it wasn't mindblowing.

just finally saw this last night.... goddamn how awesome?

the ending was cool too... even leaves a door open for a sequel the way it finished, haha..
